Colin Hoult CSC ASC has worked in the film and television industry for over 30 years, and has helped create hundreds of hours of TV and films as a Director of Photography and camera operator. Based in Toronto, Colin has served as DP most recently on the Netflix series Fubar starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Guillermo del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities, the NBCUniversal hit series Chucky, Netflix’ Locke and Key, Paramount’s Star Trek: Discovery, ABC’s Designated Survivor, YouTube Red’s Impulse, FX network's The Strain, Freeform's Shadowhunters, NBCU's Covert Affairs and Suits and others. He has been nominated for Canadian Society of Cinematographers Awards for his work on The Strain and most recently Guillermo del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities, and has won two CSC awards for previous projects. Colin is a full member of the Canadian Society of Cinematographers and the American Society of Cinematographers.
